![]() Luckily, they were parked near a local strip mall so we were able to go eat at tables nearby. They did not have wings at the time but tenders will do. ![]() We ordered the Chick N Waffles SPICY ($14), 4 pc juicy tenders MEDIUM ($13), 2 Sugar Honey Iced Teas ($5 ea), and a banana pudding ($5). The waiter was super friendly and attentive. If you know me, you know that I'm a lover of spicy food, especially Nashville Hot chicken! So when I saw that Bred's Nashville Hot Chicken was in Irvine, I decided to haul myself and my bf over there. I would def skip the mac n cheese tasted like Kraft mac n cheese without any flavors i can def make it better myself cheese fries was okay haha would prop get reg fries next time as well!(: I ordered 1 slider by itself with cheese fries, my bf ordered 1 slider & 1 tender, we got an extra tender and Mac and cheese on the side to share (: all of them had a medium spice level and it wasn't too spicy nice kick! Comes with picklesĬan i just say 10/10! The flavors is so delicious and it hit my tastebuds immediately! I suggest adding honey to the tender and dip it with their sig sauce chefs kiss It was sorta busy but we didn't wait long for our food! First time here and it won't be the last! And if you don't eat a ton, the combo and the side is pretty much 2 meals.ġ.Just be careful if you're coming here at night there are some weird people around the restaurant! Everything has a ton of flavor and it definitely hits the spot when you got that craving for some really flavorful, greasy, fried chicken goodness. I like how they season their fries and put coleslaw in the slider to help cut into all that chicken grease. All of this came out to $18.00 flat when I ate here a day ago.Įverything tastes really good - from the fries to the mac and cheese, all the way to the chicken. I usually purchase a side of Mac and cheese on the side to go with the combo. I always get the Slider + Tender combo which includes a Chik-Fil-A sized sandwich and pretty big chicken tender along with some crispy french fries, sliced pickles, a piece of toast, and dipping sauce. They have varying degrees of spiciness, and I always get the level 'Hot', which for me, is not too spicy but still has some decent kick. They're open late, the place is clean (I always get my food to-go), and the food is great. If you love spicy fried chicken, then I suggest you give this place a try. From there, the incredibly craveable "Hot and Spicy" varieties have created a cult following with rave reviews across the U.S. ![]() A year later, the boys had the money to open a shop in a hip strip-mall with de_cor by local street artists, where the crowds continued to grow with wait-times of an hour and more. Almost instantly, the lines stretched around the block. The next morning's headline read "East Hollywood's Late Night Chicken Stand Might Blow Your Mind". ![]() Two nights later, Eater/LA showed up to see what the fuss was about. Arman created Instagram buzz and the lines began to grow. And what chicken it is! Sourced and prepared to be the juiciest and most tender imaginable with each piece topped with Dave's own mix of spices ranging from "Mild" to "The Reaper". The menu was simple, and chicken was the star. The four friends scrounged up $900 to put a tiny stand in an East Hollywood parking lot. Dave, a chef trained in Thomas Keller's (French Laundry) organization set out to create the perfect Hot Chicken by searching, tasting, and frying. Dave's Hot Chicken was created by best friends Dave Kopushyan, Arman Oganesyan, and Tommy and Gary Rubenyan.
